Escribir mal es un problema que no sólo afecta a los niños y jóvenes, también afecta a los adolescentes y adultos. Además, tiene muchas consecuencias negativas que afectan tanto al plano personal, escolar y profesional. A continuación se indican algunas situaciones prácticas: Baja la nota – los profesores no pueden calificar los exámenes porque no entienden la letra de sus alumnos. Crea inseguridad ante exámenes importantes – selectividad… No se aprecia el nivel creativo al redactar -baja el rendimiento escolar- Nos hace tener complejo -no escribimos delante de gente- Puede afectar nuestro perfil profesional -cada día se utiliza más el letra en
selección de personal.
¿Por qué se escribe mal?
La respuesta es múltiple pero, básicamente, los factores pueden ser:
• Por tener una deficiente psico-motricidad fina.
• Por coger mal el bolígrafo, mala postura, mover mal el brazo, etc
• Además, nuestra escritura revela nuestra personalidad, por lo tanto refleja aspectos emocionales o mentales que inciden directamente sobre nuestra letra:
- Impaciencia.
- Nerviosismo.
- Mal organización.
- Desorden.
- Miedos.
- Complejos, celos…
- Hiperactividad.
¡Aquí tienes cinco pasos que funcionan de verdad!
1. Coge correctamente el lápiz
Prueba esto: sostén el lápiz por el extremo superior, cerca de la goma, e intenta escribir tu nombre. ¿Difícil, eh? Pero, si coges el lápiz de la forma correcta, escribir te resultará mucho más fácil. La mejor forma de coger un lápiz o un bolígrafo es dejándolo reposar cerca de la base del dedo pulgar. Sostenlo en su sitio utilizando los dedos pulgar, índice y medio. Observa atentamente la foto.
2. Deja que los renglones te guíen
¡El papel con renglones es tu mejor aliado! Los renglones te pueden ayudar a hacer letras del tamaño y las proporciones adecuadas. Por proporción, entendemos que una cosa es del tamaño adecuado en comparación con otra. De modo que tu «a» minúscula debería ser la mitad de tu «A» mayúscula.
Asegúrate de llenar completamente cada uno de los renglones. Las letras mayúsculas deberían ocupar desde la parte inferior del renglón hasta la parte superior. Los renglones también ayudan a enderezar las letras, en vez de inclinarlas demasiado hacia un lado o hacia el otro. Si no dispones de renglones, como cuando estás montando un póster, puedes utilizar una regla y un lápiz suave para hacer varias líneas a fin de que el título sea del tamaño adecuado y quede perfectamente recto.
3. Baja el ritmo
Si tu letra es difícil de entender o borras demasiado, prueba ir un poco más despacio. A algunos niños, el hecho de ir más lentos les ayuda a solucionar el problema. Cuando te aceleras, te cuesta mucho controlar donde acabas y empiezas las letras, y cometes muchos más errores. ¿Has borrado tan fuerte alguna vez que has acabado haciendo un agujero en el papel? ¡Es horroroso!
4. No aprietes tanto
Algunos niños aprietan mucho cuando escriben. Esto dificulta mucho hacer las líneas suaves necesarias para escribir bien, sobre todo cuando se escriben letras ligeramente orientadas hacia la derecha. Intenta tomarte las cosas con más calma, no cojas el lápiz con tanta fuerza y trata de que el lápiz deje una marca en el papel sin necesidad de atravesarlo. ¡Además, así romperás menos puntas de lápiz!
5. Simplemente, juega
¿Cómo puede ser? Sí, lo has oído bien. Los juegos pueden mejorar tu letra. Multitud de juegos requieren escribir o hacer dibujos. O sea que, a pesar de que no puedan considerarse como deberes escolares oficiales, esos juegos te permitirán utilizar algunas habilidades necesarias para controlar mejor el lápiz. En lo que se refiere al control fino del movimiento de las manos, prueba juegos manuales de equilibrio (como el de los palillos o hacer montajes alineando fichas de dominó).
Y, si quieres fortalecer los músculos que utilizas para escribir, también lo puedes hacer practicando juegos de mesa. ¿Cómo? Utiliza unas pinzas en vez de directamente los dedos para coger tu pieza y moverla sobre la mesa o el tablero.
Después del juego de mesa, ¿qué tal un juego imaginativo? Simula que eres una estrella de cine o un atleta famoso. ¿Qué tendrás que hacer cuando tus seguidores se concentran para saludarte? Darles un autógrafo, ¡por supuesto!
Tal vez necesites ayuda adicional
Si pruebas los anteriores consejos y, aun y todo, sigues sin observar ninguna mejora en tu letra, siempre puedes pedir ayuda. Explica tus problemas a tu profesor o a tus padres. Algunos niños necesitan sesiones de terapia ocupacional para mejorar la letra. Pero muchos niños mejoran trabajando la forma de escribir con la ayuda de un adulto.
Los adultos pueden darte ánimos y ofrecerte formas divertidas de practicar, practicar y practicar. Uno de tus padres o un profesor puede ejercer de amable entrenador, alentándote. Y, cuando te des cuenta de que tu caligrafía está mejorando, ¿qué deberías hacer? ¡Utilizar tu maravillosa letra para escribirle a tu entrenador una nota de agradecimiento!

Muchas gracias me parecen muy valiosas las estrategias, sobre todo porque consideró el aspecto de nuestra personalidad en la escritura y la parte emocional que a veces influye también en el caso de los adultos, otro aspecto que he notado deteriora mi escritura es el uso de teclados, me ocurre que omito letras o no termino su trazo; tomaré en cuenta los ejercicios, deseo mejorar.

Gracias por compartir tan importante información; es necesario hacer algunos aportes por experiencia; en la primera infancia es de suma importancia desarrollar (trabajar) la discriminación fina, gruesa, lateralidad, espacio y tiempo; son capacidades que se debe trabajar a través del juego con los estudiantes del II y III ciclo de la EBR (04,05,06 y 07 años), preparar convenientemente a los niños/as para la lecto escritura, es fundamental.

Es interesante tu aporte, considero de importancia que se de las orientaciones sobre la ortografía, los signos de puntuación, tanto alumnos como profesores no la toman en cuenta. Esencialmente se tome en cuenta que:
Es muy común ver en la red aquellos “gurú” que se autoproclaman “experto en TIC´s” ¡Ay Dios!, existirán otras personas que por simple desconocimiento (como lo tenemos todos) y por lo popular que se ha convertido el término “TIC´s” lo utilicen en su jerga habitual pero… ¿Cuál es el término correcto?
“Plural de las siglas: las ONG, unos DVD, los TIP, las TIC… y las pronuncia silbando la «S»
En español, las siglas son invariables en la lengua escrita, es decir, no modifican su forma cuando designan más de un referente. El plural se manifiesta en las palabras que las introducen o que las modifican: varias ONG europeas, unos DVD, los PC. Por eso es recomendable utilizar siempre un determinante para introducir la sigla cuando esta ha de expresar pluralidad: Ejemplo:
• La medida ha sido apoyada por diferentes ONG del país.
• ¿Con cuántos PC portátiles podremos contar?
• Tengo muchos CD de este tipo de música.
Debe evitarse el uso, copiado del inglés, de realizar el plural de las siglas añadiendo al final una “s” minúscula, con o sin apóstrofo:
• PC’s, PCs
• ONG’s, ONGs.
• TIC’s, TICs.

La posición del cuaderno o soporte para la escritura.
Debe estar en 45 grados en relación al cuerpo para que la mano mantenga su postura natural y de esa manera podamos realizar fácilmente los pasos indicados en el post. Soy Caligrafo por eso lo sé.
