Previo a esto, en este mismo lugar se encontraba el hotel de cuatro estrellas IFA BÁVARO, el cual ya estaba bastante desactualizado cuando cerró. Fuimos allí personalmente para averiguarlo y mostrarte el territorio, las habitaciones, la playa, los restaurantes y contarte, por así decirlo, toda la información de primera mano. Comencemos con la playa. El Lopesan Costa Bávaro se encuentra junto al famoso Hotel Barceló. En consecuencia, tienen una playa similar. Una amplia franja blanca como la nieve, palmeras y un hermoso océano azul. El único inconveniente son los barcos y yates que están estacionados justo en el horizonte. Por supuesto, la zona de baño está vallada con boyas y los barcos no interfieren con los bañistas. Pero a alguien no le gusta cuando hay objetos extraños en el horizonte, y algunos creen que el agua está contaminada por los barcos. Aquí, por supuesto, la decisión es tuya. Therefore it’s essential to stay out of slot canyons if there is ANY rain in the forecast within a 30-mile radius of a slot canyon. Look up canyon at drainage systems too! It can be sunny where you are and raining up canyon where flooding can start. Rule number 1 when visiting the desert is DON’T BUST THE CRUST! That weird, raised, bumpy soil you see is alive. It’s called cryptobiotic soil and it is an integral part of preventing erosion and allowing for plant life to thrive in the desert. It is fragile and stepping on it will ruin years of development. Stay on marked trails when possible. If you do venture into the backcountry, pay attention to where you’re walking. Camp and walk on hard surfaces where possible.
