After finding a bed bug in my room and notifying the front desk, their priority was to send security to my room to take photos and a statement. Making me feel as if I had done something wrong. I waited at least 30 mins for a random hotel employee to bring me keys to a new room. He offered no help in moving us and was non-apologetic. After moving my family to the new room I called the front desk again and spoke with a Manager "Rachel", I asked her what was next, would there be some compensation for the inconvenience, she told me I would have to wait to hear from security in 72 hours. I told her that was not acceptable and she said she would call me back. After waiting by the phone for 2 hours I gave up on her. She obviously did not care about her guest. To make matters worse I was moved to a room facing a dumpster full of mattresses, so I'm guessing this is not an isolated issue. I will be posting my review to all travel websites. GSR needs to do better, I have been a long time guest.
