Midnight fireworks @ Agua Caliente Casino in downtown Palm Springs on 1/01/22. Agua Caliente had two DJ'S ~ inside & outside the casino, and this event also hired impersonators... Elvis & Marilyn Monroe were right outside. Sonny & Cher were also there. They blocked off some streets surrounding the casino for the fireworks. This was a free event. Agua Caliente acquired the Spa Resort Casino and now owns THREE casinos in the Greater Palm Springs ~ the others are in Cathedral City (newest addition) and the main casino is in Rancho Mirage, but the real action is in downtown Palm Springs. Agua Caliente is collecting casinos in a pandemic. Apparently business is good! BTW my son and I hit Morongo Casino last year (12/31/20) for dinner at the Good Times Café and the countdown at midnight. They did give out party favors (masquerade masks), but Morongo's NYE is not as good as Pechanga Casino, with the exception of those who attended the trendy nightclub located inside Morongo ~ which I did in 2006. Pechanga's NYE has been cancelled since December 2020... that is why we came to Agua Caliente.
